Overview of Programs Available

If you are interested in enrolling your child in a Lighthouse Montessori Academy but are uncertain what age is appropriate to begin,or which program to chose, the following overview may help you understand the programs available:
Children at the Aviary Field Trip


Summer School Program
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday
8:30 am to 11:30 am
Children participate in circle time, cultural lesson, language lesson, uninterrupted Montessori work time, cleaning skills and routine rotation, meal preparation, snack, courtesy lesson, and outdoor play.
School will be off during the first two weeks of August for Summer break (and August tuition will be $150).

School Year: House of the Children (Casa dei Bambini)
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday
8:30 am to 11:30 am
ages 3-6

Children participate in a carefully prepared schedule circle time, cultural lesson, language lesson, uninterrupted Montessori work time in the areas of:
- practical life
- sensorial
- math
- language
- culture

- cleaning skills and routine rotation, meal preparation, snack, book reading, courtesy lesson, and outdoor play.
Tuition: $300/month
Toddler practices spooning corn from the Westward Expansion bin, practicing focus, concentration and fine motor skills necessary for writing

Toddler Program 
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday
8:30 am to 11:30 am
Ages 1.5 to 3 years old
Your child will enjoy of the perfect opportunity for self-development during these important sensitive period. They will be welcomed in a safe, tender atmosphere of respect and support. They will be allowed to explore with their senses materials especially prepared for them. They will bask in the respectful and careful attention of the House children. Potty training support available.
Tuition: $400/month


Tutoring
Ages 3 to 18 years old
The Montessori materials are loved by children who would like a boost with concrete and fun exercises, especially in the areas of math, science and language. Tutoring is available for children of all levels and capacities in elementary and middle school.
Group tutoring also available if you bring your group. Contact us for details.
One-on one tutoring tuition
$ 30 for 30 minutes
$ 50 for 1 hour


Take-Home Montessori Unit Study Program
First Tuesday of the month  9:00 am  to 12:00 pm
Ages 3 to 18 years-old
$150/month

This Take-Home program is ideal for children in our regular program who want to expand their experiences at home. It is also perfect for children who may attend other schools, but who are inquisitive learners because they will greatly enjoy hands-on concrete works and playful learning. And really, because Montessori is child-led, it can be used stand alone, as a spring board to a comprehensive Montessori home education, with excellent resources ready to save you incredible amounts of time, space, and money.  This is our effort to carry on Maria Montessori's vision to bring  the best, world-class education, to every child.

This program was developed inspired by the Montessori, TJ Ed, Unschooling, Child-led, Charlotte Mason idea that children are to be inspired at the home to learn out of the best books and materials at home, and love the process. Open Enrolment 2017-2018

2016-2017 was a year full of beauty and wonder. Miss Maraly was able to train through the American Montessori Society, one of the most prestigious Montessori organizations in America. We expanded our curriculum and acquired many new, engaging, beautiful materials. We are ready for another amazing year! And we are expanding our ours of operation. We will offer an AM session 9:00 am to 12:00 pm,                          a PM session from 12:20 pm to 3:20 pm, and                           an extended day: early drop-off from 7:45 am and late pick-up to 4:30 pm.
